OUR STORY

Common Clouds was born from a simple vision – to remove the stigma around acne.

A LETTER FROM THE FOUNDERS

Common Clouds is the brand we wish had existed when we were teens, caught in a whirlwind of hormones, sebum, anxiety and overly harsh skincare.

Because acne goes more than skin deep.

Acne affects over 90% of all people at some point and its connection to mental health is well established. More than any other skin condition, acne impacts self-image, confidence, and the way we move through the world.

After years in the beauty industry – and having dealt with acne ourselves – we saw a clear gap. We longed for a kinder, non-judgemental world built specifically for acne-prone skin. Products that actually worked, but never made you feel like your skin was a problem to fix.

In 2022, we launched Common Clouds as Scandinavia's first acne-dedicated brand. But Common Clouds goes beyond skincare.

We are here to challenge harsh treatments, unrealistic beauty standards, and the shame that has surrounded acne for far too long. We want to reframe the conversation around skin and create something softer, calmer and more human – a place where you can show up exactly as you are.
