Pimple patches made from hydrocolloid material – like Common Clouds Cloud Patch ­–absorb excess fluid and pus from active pimples, speeding up healing and quickly flattening the pimple. Our pimple patches also contain Centella Asiatica to soothe angry skin and bring down redness in the area.

Pimple patches should always be applied on clean, dry skin. For best results, pop it on after cleansing with Cloud Wash (and after Cloud Water, if using) before doing the rest of your routine. If you've already moisturised, let the product sink in completely before applying your patch.

Cloud Patch and Moon Patch work best on late-stage, surface-level pimples that have come to a head, meaning it’s full of pimple fluid and gunk for the hydrocolloid to absorb. If you happen to pop your pimple (it happens to us too!), don’t panic. Put a cloud on it, and the pimple patch will help your skin to recover. We also like to wear our pimple patches on brewing, under-the-skin pimples to prevent us from picking.

You should see a noticeable difference when you remove Cloud Patch after a minimum of six hours. However, each pimple is different, so it’s hard to give an exact time frame. Wear your pimple patch at least 6 hours or overnight, and you should see results. Repeat if needed.

Yes! We worked super-hard to create a next-to-invisible pimple patch that you can comfortably wear during the day. Actually, it’s been really hard for us to photograph the images seen here on our website and on our social since the Cloud is barely visible ;)

Pimple patches work best on clean and dry skin, and the oil in foundation might affect the pimple patch’s ability to stick onto your skin, so the hydrocolloid can’t flex its full potential to absorb fluid from your pimple. Makeup can also get stuck around the edges, which doesn’t look too great. However, even when used with makeup, Cloud Patch will protect your skin from picking fingers and outer bacteria.
Our favourite way to wear pimple patches with makeup is to apply makeup as usual and then remove the makeup from the pimple with a Qtip and apply the patch. We find the best results to be avoiding foundation too close to the edges, especially foundation that contains oil. The patch will blur your pimple, so you might not even find that you need makeup on top of the patch.
