Cloud Patch and Moon Patch work best on late-stage pimples that have come to a head, meaning it’s full of pimple fluid and gunk for the hydrocolloid to absorb. If you happen to pop your pimple (it happens to us too!), don’t panic. Put a cloud on it, and the pimple patch will help your skin to recover. We also like to wear our pimple patches on brewing, early-stage pimples to prevent us from picking, but the most dramatic results will always be on the ready-to-pop ones.

Each pimple is different, and everyone’s skin is different, so results can vary. You should see a noticeable difference when you remove Cloud Patch or Moon Patch after a minimum of six hours. Repeat if needed until the pimple is a thing of the past.

We are OBSESSED with centella – can you tell? Every Common Cloud pimple patch is infused with super-calming cocktail of three types of bio-active Centella asiatica-extracts (Asiaticoside, Madecassic acid and Asiatic acid). Centella’s anti-inflammatory and calming properties makes it a must-have for sensitive, acne- and redness-prone skin.

No matter if you wear it day or overnight, the pimple patch needs six hours to work it’s magic.

The hydrocolloid needs at least six hours to do it’s thing and flatten the pimple. You can wear it during the day or overnight. There is no max time limit, but we recommend removing or changing your pimple patch after ten hours.

Yes, even though we always recommend a patch test if your skin is very sensitised. Many acne medications – both oral and topical – can dry out skin and make it more sensitive. The Cloud Patch or Moon Patch don'tcontain any active ingredients that should clash with your prescribed medication, but in some cases putting a hydrocolloid bandage straight on top of topical acne creams can make them more potent. We recommend that you use your topical medication and pimple patch at different times if you are unsure, or consult your dermatologist.

Yes! Hormonal breakouts during pregnancy are very common, and we know that many women want to find an alternative to acids and over-the-counter creams.

The shape and size! The recipe in both our patch styles are the same – vegan hydrocolloid and 3 x bio-active Centella extracts. Cloud Patch is smaller (but available in two sizes in every pack) and Moon Patch is larger and especially designed for bigger breakouts and pimple clusters.

The Cloud Patch works best on clean and dry skin. The oil in makeup might affect the pimple patch’s ability to stick onto your skin, and the hydrocolloid can’t flex it’s full potential to absorb fluid from the pimple. However, even when used with makeup, the Cloud Patch will protect your skin from picking fingers and outer bacteria. But we recommend to always give our pimple patch a clean canvas to work on.

No and yes. It is not harmful in any way, but you might get makeup stuck around the edges. It doesn’t look great to be honest ;) Also it can affect the patch’s stickiness. We find the best results to be avoiding foundation too close to the edges, especially foundation that contains oil.

Yes! Cloud Patch and Moon Patch are waterproof and always up for a sweat sesh. After your workout, remove the pimple patch, wash your face and apply a new patch if needed.

We recommend storing your patches in the original packaging at room temperature as high humidity and heat over a long time might impact the product. With that said, we have stored our pimple patches in our bathrooms for several months, and they have survived steam from hot and long showers.

You should always use sunscreen, but unlike AHA-acids – especially Glycolic Acid – BHA doesn't make you skin more prone to sun damage. But always wear SPF – it's the best investment you can do for your skin!

The tell-tale signs of oily skin are that your face is shiny – especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) – and appears greasy later on in the day. Makeup sldies off easily. In oily skin, blackheads and pimples are common, and the pores look enlarged.

However, you can also have combination skin, where some areas of your face are dry, and others oily.

If you're unsure, you can do this easy test. After washing your
face with a gentle, non-drying cleanser, pat it dry with a towel and wait for 30 minutes. Then press blotting paper (you can use thin paper towels) over various areas of your face. If the sheets soaked up visible oil marking from all areas of the face, you have oily skin.
