Q&A Cloud Jelly
Is Cloud Jelly good for oily and acne-prone skin?
Yes! Cloud Jelly is a water-based gel cream without any ingredients that can clog up pores. It’s ideal for all skin types – from oily to dry. It’s also fungal-acne safe!
Is Cloud Jelly safe for skin with rosacea?
Yes, Cloud Jelly is formulated without anything that might trigger rosacea, and rich in redness-soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredients.
Does Cloud Jelly contain fragrance?
Nope! Like all our products, Cloud Jelly is free from perfume and fragrance that might irritate reactive skin. This is so that even people with sensitive or weakened skin can use our products!
Can I use Cloud Jelly with Common Cloud's other products?
Yes, you can! Cloud Jelly can be freely combined with all Common Cloud products. In fact, it’s made to perfectly complement our other products, like Cloud Wash, Cloud Water and Cloud Milk. We also love using Cloud Jelly in the morning and Moon Balm at night to get the best of two worlds – hydration and repair!
Does Cloud Jelly feel sticky?
Cloud Jelly is a gel moisturiser that instantly plumps your skin with hydration and has a slight ”grip” in the texture. Depending on your skin’s starting point and how much you apply, skin will look dewy upon application and have a glass-skin bounce. However, if your skin feels sticky after applying Cloud Jelly, it could be due to a few reasons:
1. Using too much product: If you apply too much moisturiser at once, it can be difficult for skin to instantly absorb it all, leaving a slightly sticky residue. Cloud Jelly is rich in hyaluyronic acid and other moisturising ingredients that by nature can feel slightly jelly-ish before fully absorbed by skin.
2. Not allowing enough time for absorption: Give your moisturiser a few minutes to fully skin into skin before assessing how it feels. If it still feels sticky after a few minutes, you may be using too much product.
3. Too many layers at once: If you use toners, essences and serum under your moisturiser, make sure that every layer sinks into skin before adding the next. It’s difficult for skin to drink up all the hydration too much, too fast.
4. Skin isn’t exfoliated enough: If you have a layer of dead skin cells on your skin, it can be hard for skin to fully absorb skin care products. Make sure to exfoliate at least 2-3 times/week with Cloud Water to keep skin healthy and glowy!
