Let's dive a little deeper into why you need sunscreen and why Cloud Screen is the perfect sunscreen for acne-prone and sensitive skin!
A suncreen made with love for acne-prone and sensitive skin!
Cloud Screen is an every day sunscreen that protects our amazing skin from dangerous UVA and UVB rays while leaving your skin moisturised and soothed. The lightweight formula transforms upon application into a light moisturising essence that instantly melts into the skin without leaving a sticky or white film. Cloud Screen is invisible on ALL skin tones and won't roll under make-up - you won't even know you're wearing it.
Most importantly, the product is adapted for sensitive and acne-prone skin - so it's perfect for everyone with acne-prone skin, fungal acne or skin that clogs easily.
Why is it important for sunscreen to protect against both UVA and UVB rays?
UVB rays are responsible for sunburn and play a key role in skin cancer development, while
UVA rays penetrate deeper into the skin, contributing to premature aging and long-term damage.
Think:
UVB = BURN
UVA = AGING
Broad-spectrum protection ensures you're shielded from both — helping to prevent sunburn, wrinkles, pigmentation, and serious skin damage down the line. That’s why Cloud Screen uses advanced filters that cover the full UV spectrum.
How do I prevent skin from clogging up or breaking up from sunscreen?
Happy you asked! Here's our pro tips!
-
Double-cleanse with Cloud Wash
If you're prone to clogging from sunscreen (or just in general), it's important to double cleanse in the evening. This is crucial to remove every trace of UV filters, make-up and excess oil. Our gel cleanser Cloud Wash uses micellar technology to dissolve everything you want to remove after a long day. Simly start by massaging over dry skin to dissolve sunscreen and makeup. Rinse and wash your face as usual!

Exfoliate!
Three times a week (or daily if your skin tolerates it), use our BHA toner Cloud Water. It breaks through oil and ‘vacuums’ any stuffed gunk in the pores.

CLOUD SCREEN FAQ!
Is Cloud Screen suitable for acne-prone skin?
Yes it is, with a content where we thought all the way for sensitive, redness and skin that is generally reactive. Free from perfume and dehydrated alcohols and irritating essential oils, Cloud Screen is packed with soothing ingredients such as centella, oats, niacinamide and green tea.
Is Cloud Screen safe for rosacea-prone skin?
Yes. Cloud Screen was made with sensitive, redness-prone and reactive skin in mind. It’s fragrance-free, free from drying alcohols and irritating essential oils, and packed with calming ingredients like centella, oat, niacinamide and green tea. We also use next-gen UV filters that are gentler than some traditional ones.
However, even though we made a gentle formula, every case of rosacea is individual. It’s always smart to patch test first.
Is Cloud Screen good for sensitive skin?
Yes, it’s a great match for us sensitive skin girlies and boys! Cloud Screen is fragrance-free, non-irritating, and made with gentle UV filters that are less likely to cause reactions. Plus, it’s packed with skin-soothers like centella, oat, and beta-glucan to calm and comfort. However, if you’re extremely reactive, you should always patch-test.
Is Cloud Screen fungal acne-safe?
Yes, Cloud Screen is made without esters or oils or other ingredients known to feed Malassezia (the yeast behind fungal acne)
What UV filters are used in Cloud Screen?
Cloud Screen uses a powerful blend of four advanced chemical (organic) filters that work together to give your skin broad-spectrum protection – meaning it shields against both UVA and UVB rays. For fellow sunscreen nerds out there, here’s a breakdowns of the filters:
• Uvinul A Plus – Strong protection against UVA rays (the ones responsible for premature skin aging).
• Uvinul T 150 – High-performance UVB filter that helps prevent sunburn and boosts SPF.
• Tinosorb M – Broad-spectrum filter that covers both UVA and UVB. Acts like a hybrid for extra staying power.
• Uvasorb HEB – Long-lasting UVB protection, with added coverage against UVA-II.
These filters are highly photostable, meaning they don’t easily break down in the sun – so you stay protected longer. But of course, you still need to re-apply as directed.
Real talk: No sunscreen is perfect!
Even with SPF 50 and cutting-edge UV filters, no sunscreen offers 100% protection. That’s why it’s important to reapply every two hours, especially after swimming, sweating, or toweling off.
